Possible Brazil Night party ā¢ Message from Steve

Greetings Marin Free Breathers.
I'm thinking of putting on another Fearless Arts freedom concert. There are various ways we could do this. Marcia is kindly helping me do the legwork.
The party would feature MacheĢcheĢ in a Brazilian dance event.
I want to point out why I always go with MacheĢcheĢ.
First off, I love playing with those guys and Afro-Braz is my favourite music.
When I started Fearless Arts I wanted to create a new kind of music. I call it SĆ£obeau, which is roughly equivalent to Saint Beautiful. The madness of our times requires new music that can give as a great evening of fun but also create new and inspiring music to power a wave of free and loving resistance.
I also wanted to feature onside musicians. That proved difficult. Some had lost their fellow musicians to the kool-aid. I got arrogance from certain quarters. I was also keen to bring onside Latin musicians into our gigs and made a number of trips to the Mission to meet with promising players. For one reason or another nothing came of this. A latin lady told me her community was under additional pressure and they often don't want to stand out. I don't fault them for this.
I also turned to non-onside local crowd-pleaser bands whose grooves are instant jump-to-the-floor dance hits. After an initial pleasant conversation, as soon as I mentioned that we didn't wear masks (and by implication that we were non-V) all the bands I spoke to cut me off like I'd just handed them a dead rat.
So it's not for want of trying.
Plus logistics, attendance, venue, money and not making a financial loss are always a problem, not to mention the long hours it takes to organise.
I've got to the point with events where I don't care any more. I had a wonderful time in Mazunte and played a lot of gigs there. I love music. I mean I do care, but I'm over the hassle. I can just jam with friends at parties.
Plus I am very passionate about my Fearless Arts Substack page where you can find out how to remove the Anglo-American Ruling Classes along with my vision for the beautiful world that follows. I invite you all to join me on this exciting journey.
A few days ago I talked with Leo, my partner in MacheĢcheĢ, down in Santa Cruz. He was keen to play again. Nothing like a little enthusiasm to get me in the mood. So I talked it over with Marcia and with her help I'm putting out this trial balloon.
I'm not fussed. It's up to you guys. If you want to party let us know.
Dance, truth and blessings to you all
Steve
