Leanne Venier used to be a submarine engineer at Lockheed. She left that job and went to Italy to study energy healing for 7 years, including Eastern medicine based in meridians. Came back to the use and worked in a cancer healing center. Started painting as a hobby. Became an expert in the effect of Light & Color on living things. Studied Light Therapy. Created her own REDjuvenator device. Now has a line of Light Therapy & Quantum Code devices.

I asked Leanne: “Why are people dissing LED lights?” She gave me permission to share her reply.
Oh where do I start ?! LOL
First of all they're lumping all LED technology into one thing and they don't understand the differences between all the different types of LEDs. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Red light emitting or any single color emitting LEDs are completely different from White light emitting LEDs.
It's ignorance (ignorance is a choice) that keeps getting propagated by people who want to get others riled up and kept in the dark, because making people afraid or pissed off gets you a lot more clicks and followers than providing real facts...and those same people that are propagating all that misinformation don't understand basic science or physics.
Many are saying that LEDs are bad because they have blue light in them but that's what they don't understand ... that ANY white light has Blue Light Within it.
Also there's a new mythology that LEDs give off Wi-Fi radiation??! The only types of LEDs that can hook up to Wi-Fi routers are the ones that are designed to do that and the vast majority of LED bulbs do not have that capability. Philips Hue multicolor lights were the first ones to do that (and they cost a small fortune!) and you had to have a special Philips app to be able to control them which, yes, you did need to connect to your Wi-Fi, but there are tons of multicolored LED lights that you can control with a simple remote control, just like you can control your television with your remote control. No app or wifi connection needed.
Incandescents are extremely energy inefficient and they waste waste waste massive amounts of energy to put out the amount of light that they do.
For Preppers that are preparing for grid down situations with backup energy sources, incandescent bulbs would use up all of your available energy in a very short period of time.
LEDs are exponentially more energy efficient than incandescents with tons more benefits over incandescent bulbs.
If you want to understand more details about the facts and science of LED technology versus incandescents, why LEDs are better on numerous fronts, and how to understand the misinformation that some people are propagating, watch this video.
What about how the eye processes these lights? They hurt my eyes, and don't feel safe.
I don’t think this article goes far enough. While not nearly as dangerous as CFLs with the mercury, LEDs do contain arsenic, lead, gadolinium and other material that I don't consider safe. I purchased a good supply of amber and low wattage incandescents which I prefer before they were outlawed. The 40 watt “appliance” bulbs work perfectly well in lamps and I believe are still available as specialty bulbs. Certain LEDs can also cause seizures. Flickering with LEDs is not unusual but often so fast that it is invisible to our eyes but picked by the brain. Not to mention harmful to wildlife and migratory birds. This is all so insane!
