When I was a little girl, our school outings included trips to the United Nations. We were so impressed at all the flags outside, and that they let us in so we could watch the interpreters translating into one world, I mean government, I mean other languages. The architecture was modern and unique, the plaza was almost like being in Chartes Cathedral — feeling the unity of all the countries. We had no friggin’ idea WTF was going on. The UN spans over 17 acres and overlooks the East River. The head architect, Wallace K. Harrison, was also the head architect for the ROCKEFELLER FAMILY, a family who architected engineered modern medicine, education, and much more. Le Corbusier designed the building. Oscar Neiermayer was on the committee.
At that time I had a penpal from the Philippines. I don’t remember how we connected, but she eventually visited and my parents invited her to dinner with us. We wrote hand letters, and I collected the postage stamps from her letters. We both thought that the UN was doing so much good for the world. Look, it even brought us closer together.
For Halloween we would take UN collection boxes around and give the money to the UNICEF, who had the beautiful, well-loved Audrey Hepburn as the Good Will Ambassador. You could have Breakfast at Tiffany’s (Flagship Store: 6 East 57th Street) and arrive at the UN HQ at 405 East 42nd Street for a morning meeting. My father’s office was on East 42nd Street, just 3 blocks from the UN, so in addition to school trips, we could take an easy walk to hang out in the Plaza with the Flags.
But oh…. so you know the SECRETS of the UNITED NATIONS? Ever read the
UN AGENDA 21? Well the United Nations is now rolling out Agenda 2030, with the notorious "sustainability goals". This worldwide project aims to completely transform every aspect of human existence. Food, Gender, Security, EVERYTHING. . . Tell us what you think in the comments to the substack. Have you been to the UN? What do you think was really going on back there 72 years ago?

Go check out UNESCOs upcoming mid February 2023 meetings on developing and deploying censoring of wrongthink, worldwide. They use to be about preserving world heritage. Now weaponized against your family. Alert others to the event and who the participants on that list will be. Be brave. Do something.
I can so relate to your story. I grew up in Europe, but came over as an foreign exchange student and lived in Michigan. Our group went on one of the best trips seeing all the famous sites including the liberty bell, statue of liberty, Manhattan, 5th Ave, DC, white house, Washington monument, the famous museums, etc, etc. It was the most incredible trip. We went by the UN building and inside it too. I had those same good feelings about it as I was in a group with young people from around the world. Much later in my life I on the other coast and meet someone from NY that grew up with the unicef boxes at Halloween time and couldn't understand why schools weren't promoting it here. I don't have the answer as I didn't grow up with Halloween to begin with. I had hoped to do a trip with my kids and husband to show them all those things that I experienced and my husband even more. Unfortunately, we didn't make it before covid and now I have zero interest in going to any of those places. Yes United Nation is not what most of us thought it was. Thanks for your stories and everything you do!!!
