Prop 50 Lawsuit
PROP 50 LAWSUIT: The Dhillon Law Group (@DhillonLaw) is announcing a federal lawsuit on behalf of lead plaintiff Assemblyman
(R-Clovis), 18 California voters, and the California Republican Party (@CAGOP) challenging Prop 50, alleging it unconstitutionally gerrymanders districts in violation of the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments.

Here are the main elements of the plan:
LITIGATION TO STOP PROP 50: We’re supporting litigation being filed this week to block Prop 50, but I need to warn you that it is a long-shot to get the courts to save us. But it is a shot we must take.
HOLD THE CA GOP ACCOUNTABLE: We were betrayed by a wasteful and ineffective No on 50 campaign run by the failed insiders at the CA Republican Party. As we fight to change our party and replace those that failed and betrayed us, we must build the Reform California movement outside the party so we can do their job in the meantime.
FOCUS ON 26 TARGET SEATS: We must break the Democrats’ Super-Majority or they will make Prop 50 permanent! Even with Prop 50’s unfair lines, we can still win competitive seats for Congress and the state legislature.
ENACT CA VOTER ID: With Prop 50 providing unfair district lines, we now must enact CA Voter ID more than ever to make these districts competitive again. To do that we MUST get 1M signatures on the CA Voter ID petition!
Now that Prop 50 has passed, collecting the 1M signatures on the CA Voter ID petition now becomes CRUCIAL! Voter ID is now our ONLY hope to get fair elections back in California!
