Please consider opposing AB957 a bill by Assembly Member Wilson and Weiner I have attached my letter for you to alter or copy and paste. The bill has a hearing on 3/21 in the Judiciary Committee. This bill will give preference in a custody battle to the parent willing to transition the child.

A. DUE TOMORROW (3/15) BEFORE NOON.
Submit your letter of opposition via the Legislative Portal.
Step 1. Go to the portal website California Legislature Position Letter Portal
Step 2. Make yourself an account as an individual. You can be an individual or represent an organization (or both) Letter submitted by individuals are tallied.
Step 3. Write your letter in Word document and then save it as PDF. This is something I highly recommend over just submitting a note.
Step 4. Go to "Submit a Letter" . In "select bill' choose whether is AB or SB and then type in the number eg. AB957 then click "search" and you will see Bill Info. Verify all is correct and then click "next"
Step 5. If you submit a letter as an individual click "Yourself". If you're representing an organization- choose your organization's name
Step 6. Make sure the correct Committee you're submitting the letter to is checked and then click "next"
Step 7. Choose your "Stance"- "oppose" or "support"- depending on the bill. for AB957 you would choose "oppose"
Step 8. Write in subject "I oppose AB 957"
Step 9. Upload your letter in pdf format
Step 10. Click Review and then "Submit"
Once you submit your Letter, you can see it listed in your "Letter Submission Activity"
