Read by Sogyal Rinpoche, from 'Natural Great Peace' - words of Padmasambhava spoken in 800 A.D. Padmasambhava reached Buddhahood and traveled overland from India to Tibet to built the very first Buddhist Monestary outside Lhasa. These words of wisdom are spoken by Sogyal Rinpoche with a beautiful music accompaniment by Richard Page.
I have been listening to this recording for many years. Every time I listen, something deep is activated. What do you experience in your body as you listen to this short beautiful reading from Sogyal Rinpoche? To REST…. How can we come back to this space with frequency? “REST IN NATURAL GREAT PEACE…This exhausted mind…beaten helplessly by karma and neurotic thoughts… Comfort and Ease to just LET GO and just NATURALLY BE. Then we see the mind is quietly settled”. . . . . Oh, what a gift, this quiet mind.
As David Whyte says:
"to rest is not self-indulgent, to rest is to prepare to give the best of ourselves" ~ from poet/philosopher David Whyte’s writing on ‘REST’ from his book, CONSOLATIONS: The Solace, Nourishment and Underlying Meaning of Everyday Words.

i loved it Marin. What a spectacular video and simple message. You and Sabrina are rock-hopping today with your posts. We were talking earlier about innocence, and how these monk guys have that humble gentle innocence, and how that is god. And i really enjoyed Sogyal Rinpoche's voice and intonation. Never heard him before.
Pranams...
Powerful thank you!!
